Ethan Alan Villiger

Ethan was born on December 20th, 2010, weighing 6lbs 12oz. I went to the hospital on Dec 19th to be induced. I ended up having a C-Section. Ethan's head was stuck in my pelvis. The hardest thing about having a c-section was getting out of bed for the first time. It felt like my insides were going to fall out.
We were home on Dec 24th.  I had to stay in the hospital longer due to my high blood pressure. I could not breastfeed. My milk never came in. He is on Similac Soy.

Ethan weighed 9lbs 2oz at his one month check up.

2-25 is his 2 month check up. My guess he is going to weigh about 12lbs.

His sleeping pattern is horrible. He doesn't like to sleep during the day. At night he doesn't sleep longer then 2hrs. I hope he starts to stay asleep longer real soon. Mommy is runny out of energy.
He is starting to coo and loves to stare at lights. He just started to like his swing. Ethan usually takes a nap in his swing in the morning.

* Ethan eats 4oz every 2 hrs
* Likes to be walked
* Likes his baths.
* Is full of personality.

Daddy and I are adjusting very well. Ethan has brought alot of joy into our life.

Nursery Completed/37 week update

The nursery is finally completed! Were just waiting for baby Ethan. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and my BP was still high. My second urine screening came back at 286/300. They gave me another jug to do another 24 screening on wed. I have to go back on Thursday. If my Protein levels come back over 300, I will be induced. I will have to be submitted in the hospital 24 hours before labor because they would give me medicine to soften my cervix before I can give birth. I am really nervous. I hope I can handle the pain. Ethan will be here before Christmas.

35 weeks !!

I have been so busy, I forgot to blog. My Baby shower was October 30th. It was at Freedom Middle school in Berwyn. My mom did an awsome job at organizing the shower. My Mother-in-Law did a nice job on the cookies. EVERYTHING turned out very nice. Ethan got alot of gifts. Ethan is spoiled already!

On Nov. 28th my doctor put me on bed rest. My blood pressure is high. I had to take leave 2 weeks early. It's hard staying in bed all day when I know things have to get done. My husband has been very helpful. I have to see doc twice a week so they can keep an eye on my BP. No Christmas parties for me this year. I'll make it up next year.

*I have Mild swelling in feet, hands and face
*My Pelvis area is sore, makes it hard to walk up stairs and get out of bed
* Ethan has been head down for he past 3 doctor visits. (HE'S READY)

I am very thankful that I haven't had any leg or back pain.

We just found out today that Todd's  Grandma passed away last night. She was 89. She was a sweet caring lady. She was ready to go, she didn't like being old. RIP.

Todd has been on 3rd shift now for 3 days. The first day was really hard. Everyday he is getting used to it. It's gonna take awhile until his body adjusts. Luckly, he'll only be on 3rd shift for 3 months.

Painted the Nursery

My In-Laws came over on September 4th to help paint the nursery. We had brown and blue left over paint from our bedroom and decided to use the brown as-is but we wanted the blue to be lighter. We were able to find some old white paint to mix with the blue. The color turned out PERFECT! The two colors look amazing together. The only thing we had to buy was the Chair rail. Sunday afternoon Todd decided to install a box in the ceiling for a fan/light. He did a good job. Monday we put the furniture into the nursery. The furniture is almost to big for the room. Ethan is going to need a play room for all his toys. :-)

* I will be 23 weeks tomorrow.
* Next doctor appointment is Sept. 13th.

21 weeks and 3 days Pregnant

21 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

* Starting to have a hard time sleeping.
* Craves Orange Juice
* Heartburn
* Still getting sick in the morning.
* Starting to feel Ethan move.

* Ethan weighs about 1 pound.
* Is healthy.
* Ethan's room is going to be decorated with Frogs and Turtles.
* Colors of the room are Baby Blue & dark Brown.

Ultrasound Pic of Ethan at 20 weeks. The doctor said he is about a week ahead of schedule and that he is going to be a tall boy. Everything looked good from the ultrasounds pictures.

8 Weeks - 2 months

I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. I have bad and good days. I had to get some med from my doctor for my nausea because I was throwing up every morning. Just the other day at work I didn't take the med. and I threw up 4 times. It was a tough day. I take the medicine as needed. I try to take it only when I think I really need it. Doctor Cassidty wouldn't prescribe anything that wouldn't harm me or the baby. My next appointment is June 7th. I'm excited to hear the heart beat. Hopefully Todd and I will be able to actually see a baby in the Ultra-sound.  I am trying to eat better, but it's hard. This is a journey I will never forget.

Todd and I leave to go to Ky on Friday. We haven't seen my Grandma since my Grandpa passed away in November.
